Term 2 Head Coach Update Millswood
Winter has well and truly struck at Tennis World Millswood as we continue to build our relationships with the Tennis Community, Schools and Tennis SA. The focus of delivering quality coaching in a fun environment remains the goal each term.
In particular, this term we forged a new relationship with another local school Plympton International College. Teacher, Sue Pretty said “Thanks so much for organizing this and to your coaches who delivered an inclusive, well organized and fun program for our students”.
School Holiday Clinics were well attended and participants had the fortune of meeting South Australian Tennis Legend John Fitzgerald who shared some stories with the group.
This term it has been exciting to see Tennis SA squads training at Millswood adding to the environment.

During the term we also hosted our first Tennis Birthday Party, it was a great success with some very positive feedback from parents including, “It was the best party my 10y/o has ever been to”, “I didn’t know my son was interested in tennis – he wants to play regularly now” and “my son has never been praised for playing sport, the coaches really increased his confidence with tennis”.
Also over the June long weekend Tennis World Millswood hosted another tournament a Gold AMT and a Bronze JT, which was well attended and ran smoothly despite the threat of rain looming large.
The TW Team is also very excited by the 1 month free membership offering and look forward to introducing new clients to the Tennis World experience.
