Circuit Training

The Tennis World Circuit Training Class is a group workout that consists of performing several exercises in rotation for a set time with minimal rest periods in between. This is a fast-paced and varied workout which may combine resistance, body weight, aerobic and weight bearing exercises within the one circuit.

Boxing

The Tennis World Boxing Class is an energetic, stress-relieving and high tempo boxing workout that primarily uses boxing focus mitts and gloves throughout the workout in a combination of drills. This class is all about reps, sets, time frames and punches! No previous boxing experience is necessary.

Personal Training

Tennis World Personal Training offers a tailored and specific training session aimed at achieving your personal goals. Personal training is administered through a 1-on-1 format with a qualified trainer and will focus on learning and correcting training techniques and methods.

Cardio Fit Logo

Activ8 as part of our Fitbit Cardio Tennis stream has a focus on burning calories and continuous movement. This fast paced class will improve tennis and fitness levels. Activities will cater to all levels with drills and stations set up to keep all players involved. With a maximum of 8 players on court, this class is social  and involves both drills and points play with the aim to hit as many balls as possible and work up a good sweat.

Ideal for those interested in playing tennis in a short period of time without the need to organize a hitting partner. The class will include high-intensity drills and singles and doubles match play scenarios.

Boot Camp

The Tennis World Bootcamp is a group based strength and fitness training program aimed at full body functional and compound movements. Conducted both in the gym and outdoors with a variety of equipment and bodyweight exercises, Boot Camps are a fun and diverse way to achieve your health and fitness goals.

Ladies Tennis Mornings

Ladies Tennis Mornings (LTM’s) are on offer to female tennis players of all ages and standards throughout the school term. The program provides women with the opportunity to enjoy tennis in a fun and social environment. The 2 hour sessions that run from 9.30am – 11.30am include 90 minutes of Coaching and 30 minutes of Match-play which is then followed by a complimentary coffee and cake.

About the program: Each session begins with a different coaching theme for example; ‘lobs and smashes’ or ‘serve and return’. The technique that was learnt during the initial coaching is then simulated in doubles drills and different doubles scenarios. The session then progresses to full match play where participants can try out their new skills.

From the coaches: ‘We try to make the sessions fun, with the idea that after each session everyone comes away having learnt something new. Whether the focus be on technique or tactics, we want to create a comfortable learning environment for all participants’.
The LTM’s are open to all  ladies of all standards, members and non members who are interested. Tennis World encourages you to bring a friend and join the fun!
