Tours run daily by experienced tour guides, provide a unique behind the scenes experience of Melbourne’s most dynamic sports and entertainment venues, Rod Laver Arena and Margaret Court Arena. Visitors will be taken through the back stage areas used during the Australian Open Tournament including; Tournament Control, the Player Change Rooms used by the world’s top seeded players, inside Rod Laver Arena , the Walk of Champions, Davis & Fed Cup Rooms, inside the purpose built Media Theatrette that hosts the post-match press conferences during the tournament.

How to get to the Pro Shop?
Customers from the RLA Pro Shop will need to walk up the steps to the RLA Concourse and then walk along the Concourse down the steps from the RLA Concourse to Grand Slam Oval and then up the steps from GSO to the Eastern Courts. View Map
Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the tours scheduled departure time
Bookings are not required for small groups of under 10 people. Group Bookings of more than 10 people are required times are negotiable.
During events scheduled in Rod Laver Arena and/or Margaret Court Arena, access inside the Arenas may be restricted. Contact Tennis World on 1300 TENNIS a few days prior to your visit to check the level of access on your chosen day.
Tennis World Tours depart from the Pro Shop, located adjacent to the Player Cafe at the back of Rod Laver Arena (Pink line on map). If you’re walking or catching a tram to the facility please follow the Pink Line on the map. Parking can be found Via entrance D (Yellow line on map).
Hire a Court:
We offer great opportunities to book a court and hit on the same courts used by the Australian Open players. Book with a friend or enquire about hiring a professional tennis coach. All visitors who join the tour will receive FREE racquet and ball hire.
*Tennis World tours do not run during the Australian Open period from the middle of December to the end of January.
