Head Coach Update Sydney
As Term 3 comes to an end, so too does the colder weather, which is great news as it means more opportunities to get on court!
We have once again had a great term among are coaching students, and it is always so rewarding to see improvements in their tennis game each week whether its technical, tactical, psychological or physical. Players have also seen success at our tournaments and in our leagues which offer the opportunity to play against new opponents.
I strongly encourage all of our coaching students to get involved in our leagues and matchplay events. The experience gained from taking part in such events results in incredible improvement of player’s tennis intelligence and overall skills. I encourage all our players involved in lessons to get involved in our leagues and matchplay events.
Coaching Tip of the Term
It’s important to remember that tennis is a sport and therefore our physical status and general athletic development plays a major role in how we perform. It’s not always possible to bring our ‘best tennis’ to the court, you may have a cold, a headache, or even just had a stressful week at work/school, but you can always bring your best effort. The secret to mastering anything is to simply never give up and learn from your experiences time after time
Keep practicing and I’ll see you on court
