Canberra Tennis World Updates:

We have some exciting news for our centre in Canberra, we have been working behind the scenes to make sure we are ready to come back stronger than ever, once it is safe to. We can’t wait to get back out on court.

Coaching Update:

We are very pleased to introduce you all to Gonzalo Cervino, our new Senior Coach. With Gona joining our incredible team, we are pleased to be introducing additional cardio sessions and space in our popular Adult Coaching program. We know just how desirable these sessions are to you all! Please read on below to learn more about Gona.

“Hello Tennis Parents!

I hope you are staying well during our extended lockdown restrictions. Let’s hope we can all be back on court soon!

My name is Gonzalo (Gona), and I’m the new Senior Coach & Programs Coordinator at Tennis World Canberra. After coaching for nearly 10 years in Argentina and California, I moved to Sydney in January 2020 where I worked for Tennis World Sydney delivering programs across all levels and stages.

I recently relocated to Canberra to begin a new role working alongside Nathan, Jarrod and the entire Tennis World coaching team. I’m excited to start developing our players and coaching programs, and look forward to meeting many of you once restrictions ease.

Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

I am also excited to present some Tennis Australia “Home Court Tennis” activities that can be accessed through the links below. We will be posting new activities every week during the lockdown via our Facebook page. So please keep an eye out for activities such as “how to build your own tennis court at home”, along with lots of fun tennis drills, games, puzzles, and other non-tennis activities.

Stay safe and tennis active!

See you soon

Venue Update:

During this recent time off court, we have also been busy making upgrades around the center. New plants, hedging, clay court irrigation and pro shop furniture has been arriving. We’re also very excited to soon offer ball machine hire during your time on court. In addition, further larger projects are taking shape and will be reviled shortly
