Who: This program is for beginner to intermediate players who are looking to meet new people and future hitting partners. You might want to sign up for a social hit of tennis where there is no pressure of having to playing a match.
What: a 90-minute session created for those who are just looking for a laid-back hit. No specific structure and open for players who may want to have either singles hit or doubles hit, in either match play form or not.
Membership required: No – visit pass comes off membership for members and casual fee applies for guests

PLAY COMPETITIVE TENNIS

Who: If you are a high-beginner to advanced players who is looking for a casual yet competitive singles and/or doubles match. Designed for players who want to improve their game and their Universal Tennis Rating. Applies for both juniors and adults with dedicated sessions for both age groups.
What: a 90-minute session to play either a singles or doubles match against players of a similar UTR. A best of 3 set match, with the 3rd set being only a 10-pt match tiebreak. Sign up for a night that suits you, no season commitment.
Membership required: No – visit pass comes off membership for members and casual fee applies for guests.

TEAM-BASED TENNIS



Who: Tennis World Silver Members and above of an intermediate to advanced level who are looking for regular competition play in a team environment within Tennis World.
What: A 10-week season and 2 weeks of finals. Play in teams of 3 or more with all games being played at the one Tennis World Melbourne venue, depending which competition you sign up for. Each player is expected to play a one-set singles match and a one-set doubles match with their teammate.
Membership required: Yes (Silver or above)

No, you can pay a casual fee each night. However, if you are planning to attend regular sessions, we HIGHLY recommend joining as a member as it will be more cost efficient for you. You can check it out on our membership page.

Depending on the format you will play between 60-90 minutes each league

A text message to your selected mobile will be sent once staff make a decision on playing conditions. This is sent as early as possible but only once courts become unplayable, so the timeframe on this can vary.

Yes, you will just need to either purchase additional visit passes (via your membership portal) or pay a casual fee for the night you wish to play.
