ADELAIDE SOUTHERN DISTRICTS TENNIS ASSOCIATION PENNANT
The Southern Districts Tennis Association (SDTA) junior pennant competition is now open and taking team entries into the summer. Tennis World are excited to be entering teams in the junior pennant this season.
Here is what you need to know:
- 17 and under
- Runs on Saturday morning from 8:30 am
- 12 hard courts available
- Tennis World can create teams, just express your interest
Tennis World Adelaide pennant teams receive an hour long coach-led training session every week and free access to the tennis courts* for practice.
Team entry must be in by September 8, 2019.

MELBOURNE BAYSIDE SENIOR PENNANT
The senior competition runs during the summer months between October and March. Bayside Senior is run across 14 weeks with two weeks of finals at the end of the season. Remember, during the New Year and Australian Open, the season is paused.
Team Options: Men’s Singles/Doubles, Women’s Singles/Doubles
Here is what you need to know:
- Day: Saturday
- Time: 1:00pm to 4:30pm
- Your team: Put together a team of at least five
- Cost: Included in your Tennis World membership
FORMAT:
4 players a side
4 singles – 8 game sets
2 doubles rubbers
You can register in the Bayside Senior Competition with a team or as an individual.

CANBERRA ANZ JUNIOR PENNANT
ANZ Junior Pennant caters for players 18 and under. It is an excellent introduction to competition tennis. If you want to play in the Tennis World team, simply become a member and let the team know.
Here is what you need to know:
- 8 September – 1 December 2019
- Start Times: 8:30 am (Divisions 2-4) 9 am (Division 1) and 11 am (Divisions 5-7)
- Teams & Format: 3 player teams each player shall play 1 x set of singles and 2 x set of doubles
- Balls: Regular balls are used for divisions 1 to 5. Green dot balls are used in divisions 6 and 7
- Structure: ANZ Junior Pennant runs on a home and away structure
