Arwen Koesmapahlawan is an enthusiastic and dedicated tennis coach based in Launceston, where she brings a welcoming and supportive energy to every session. With 16 years of playing experience and 5 years of coaching, Arwen has developed a strong foundation in the sport and a passion for helping others grow their game. She specializes in Tennis Hot Shots, junior coaching, and Cardio Tennis, focusing on creating engaging and enjoyable experiences for players of all ages. Arwen holds a range of coaching qualifications, including Junior Development Coach Level 1, Triple C, Intro to Hot Shots, Future Leaders in Tennis, Learn to Lead, and Women Leaders in Tennis programs, reflecting her commitment to ongoing development both on and off the court. Known for her approachable and community-focused coaching style, Arwen loves connecting with people who share a passion for tennis and finds great joy in seeing both juniors and adults improve their skills and confidence. Her greatest achievement as a player has been the opportunity to travel the world through tennis, gaining valuable experience and insight into both her game and different cultures. Outside of tennis, Arwen is passionate about languages and is currently working towards fluency in French.
Campbell Young
Tennis Coach
Campbell Young is a committed tennis coach based in Launceston, where he brings a positive attitude and steady enthusiasm to every session. With 15 years of playing experience and 4 years of coaching, Campbell has developed a strong understanding of the game and works across Tennis Hot Shots, junior coaching, and adult coaching. He holds a Community Coaching Course qualification and focuses on creating a welcoming and supportive environment for all players. Campbell values the great atmosphere at the facility and enjoys being part of a positive environment that encourages both players and coaches to grow. One of his proudest achievements is competing in the qualifying rounds of the Launceston International, reflecting his experience in competitive tennis. Outside of coaching, Campbell comes from a tennis-focused family, with two brothers who also play the sport.

Iris Bouwmeester
Tennis Coach
Iris Bouwmeester is a passionate tennis coach based in Launceston, where she brings enthusiasm and positivity to every session. Having played tennis since the age of five, Iris has built 16 years of experience in the sport and has been coaching since early 2021. She works across a wide range of programs, including Tennis Hot Shots, junior and adult coaching, and Cardio Tennis, supporting players at all stages of their development. Iris holds a trainee coaching qualification and is committed to continually growing her skills as a coach. Known for her encouraging and inclusive approach, she takes pride in creating a welcoming environment where players feel confident and motivated to improve. Her love for coaching is driven by the strong sense of community at Tennis World, as well as the joy of introducing young players to the game through Hot Shots, something she personally experienced as a child. One of Iris’s proudest achievements is representing Tasmania in the Pizzey Cup during Years 11 and 12. A fun fact about Iris is that she has experienced nearly every aspect of tennis, giving her a well-rounded understanding of the sport.

Junwei Wang
Tennis Coach
Junwei Wang, known as William or June, is a highly qualified and experienced tennis coach based in Launceston, where he brings a strong technical background and international coaching perspective to every session. With 14 years of playing experience and 8 years of coaching, Junwei works across Tennis Hot Shots, junior and adult coaching, high performance, and Cardio Tennis, offering a well-rounded approach to player development. He holds ITF Level 1 and PTR coaching certifications, as well as a China Tennis National Level 1 Referee qualification, reflecting his deep understanding of both coaching and the competitive structure of the sport. Known for his detail-oriented and development-focused coaching style, Junwei enjoys contributing across multiple areas at Tennis World, including high-performance coaching, junior development, and stringing services. He values the opportunity to support players at all stages of their tennis journey. As a player, Junwei achieved National Level 2 athlete status in China and placed second in provincial competition. As a coach, he has developed numerous junior players during their Orange Ball and Green Ball stages, with several achieving top-three finishes in provincial tournaments. His coaching experience is further strengthened by his international background, having worked extensively with young players in China before continuing his career in Australia.
