Currently in Melbourne Park offer school and small group tours of the National Tennis Centre with a history and career presentation revolving around the grand Melbourne and Olympic Park and Tennis Australia. This can also be run with an on court cardio session to get an overall taste for tennis.

Do you love everything about the Australian Open? Tennis World offer exclusive behind the scenes tours of the Melbourne Park precinct – home of the biggest sporting event in the world in January.
Visitors will experience a unique tour through one of Australia’s most dynamic sports and entertainment venues. On the days when there are no shows on, explore the hidden gems and player areas underneath the park. Even when access is restricted due to events on the day, the tour still provides a great experience.
THERE IS SO MUCH TO SEE ON THE TOUR – our experienced Tennis World guides walk you through the areas only few see. The new and world-class Player Pod, training areas, changing rooms, player lounge and underground paths are just some examples of places you might experience on our Aus Open tours. Walk on to Show Court 3 and take photos in front of the iconic Melbourne sign. With all of this and more, the tour provides a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Due regular events and concerts in Rod Laver, the tour will not enter into the seating area of the Arena
On the days when there is an event* on, the team will try as hard as possible to take visitors on as much of the tour as possible.
Tours run Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 11.30am, 1.00pm and 2.30pm. Tours will not run on public holidays.
Due to continued construction work inside Rod Laver Arena, entry and viewing of the seating bowl, is not permitted until late 2019.

If you love the tour, you might just feel an urge to have a hit yourself. Show your Aus Open Tour pass at to the Front of House staff and receive 20% off court hire and borrow racquets and tennis ball hire. This offer is valid for a week after your tour and is subject court availability.
Tour duration is 1 to 1 1/4hrs.

*An Event Day is where a concert or other event is scheduled in Rod Laver or Margaret Court Arenas. When an event is scheduled in Rod Laver Arena, access to Player Areas is NOT permitted. When an event is scheduled in Margaret Court Arena, access into foyer and seating bowl is NOT permitted.
